Our Turf or Lawn Soil Blend, is a sandy loam base blended with 15-20% of our certified organic compost (by Clyde Compost) to give your lawn or native garden the perfect start it needs. This product is designed to be a free draining sandy loam soil. The added organic compost, gives your turf, lawn or native plants the added benefit of beneficial microbes, slow release fertiliser, a boost in organic matter and better moisture retention.
1. Free-draining sandy loam: This ensures that water doesn’t water log your lawn, which is great for preventing root rot and promoting strong root development.
2. Beneficial microbes: These microbes help with soil health and nutrient breakdown, which can naturally improve soil structure over time.
3. Slow-release fertilizer: A steady nutrient supply helps reduce the need for frequent use of fertiliser.
4. Organic matter: This improves soil structure, making it easier for roots to grow, and enhances the soil’s ability to retain moisture.
