The exact options, pricing and booking requirements depend on the venue, date, timing, guest numbers and level of service.

Can I book a whole Over the Road venue privately?
Whole-venue enquiries are welcome outside normal trading hours, subject to the location, date, guest numbers and event requirements. Emerald also has smaller group and private-room options.
When is Upper Beaconsfield available for functions?
Upper Beaconsfield is planned to return for regular Friday and Saturday night dining from November 2026. Private functions can be considered outside that regular service and for selected special openings, subject to availability.
Can you provide both food and drinks?
Yes. We can discuss function food, licensed drinks, a staffed bar, coffee and non-alcoholic options. The final range and service plan are agreed for each booking.
Can catering and party-hire equipment be added?
Yes. The wider General Store team can discuss catering and selected equipment such as tables, chairs, heaters, marquees, warmers and fridges.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Tell us about dietary requirements at the enquiry stage so we can confirm practical menu options. Our kitchens handle common allergens, so an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
How far ahead should I enquire?
Enquire as soon as your preferred date and approximate guest numbers are known, particularly for weekends, milestone dates and the end-of-year function period.
Is the function confirmed when I submit the form?
No. The form starts the planning process. Your booking is confirmed only after our team has agreed the details, availability, pricing and any deposit or payment requirements with you.
