Application:Because of its high specification the CHF Organic Free Range Layer Mash is ideal for large flocks of birds or birds kept in small backyards with little or no forage areas. Providing a completely balanced diet, this high protein and high energy ration will satisfy your poultry's daily nutritional requirements without the need for additional inputs such as vegetables and food scraps.
Feed Directions: CHF Organic Free Range Layer Mash is best fed once the birds have reached the point of lay, (approx 18 to 20 weeks) although blending with the Organic Chick Starter Grower Mash from 16 weeks is advisable to assist with the transition to layer feed.
Typical feed consumption is between 110g - 130g per head per day and feed is best made accessible through a specially designed self-feeder. To obtain minimal wastage, ensure your feeder is elevated so the birds can comfortably access the feed, but high enough so they cannot scratch it out onto the ground with their feet. Always ensure that birds have access to plenty of clean potable drinking water.
