How does 45kg LPG delivery work?
If you already use General Store Gas, order a replacement when one of your two 45kg cylinders is empty. The second bottle remains available while we schedule the empty rental cylinder for exchange. Eligible local orders are delivered next business day, subject to order timing, stock availability, safe access and service-area eligibility. Once your General Store Gas cylinders are in place at a suitable existing LPG installation, reordering is designed to be straightforward.

An annual rental applies for each General Store Gas 45kg cylinder held, except where a confirmed introductory offer waives the charge for the relevant period. Under the current Starter Offer, the first-year rental on both opening cylinders is free for eligible customers.

Can I switch from Elgas or another supplier?
Yes, subject to service eligibility. Cylinders from Elgas or another supplier remain the property of that supplier and need to be returned to or collected by the relevant supplier separately.
Do you install or modify LPG systems?
No. Our service supplies and exchanges cylinders at a suitable existing LPG installation. New installations, regulators, pipework, appliance connections, repairs, alterations and compliance work must be completed by an appropriately licensed gasfitter.
What if access to my bottle position is difficult?
Tell us before delivery. Gates, steep or narrow driveways, low branches, pets, restricted turning room and obstacles around the bottle position can all affect safe access. You can also review our Delivery Fleet before ordering.
